What Is Truth?

Pilate asked Jesus, “What is Truth”, while he was staring truth right in the face! There seems to be a lot of people going around today spouting off their own personal opinions, and then passing them off as “the truth”.  They believe that since they think something is true, then that must make it true as if their random thoughts are somehow infallible truths.

Since most of the people you see on TV are so detached from Christianity, it’s really hard to believe that any of their opinions are the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  In fact, Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, according to Scripture.  The Lord also told us that Satan is the father of lies and that the truth is not in him. In the Garden of Eden, Satan twisted the truth to beguile Adam and Eve into disobeying God. Today, Satan’s children are all over TV twisting and distorting the truth into damnable lies, all for the purpose of destroying American society and our country.

America Gone Mad

St. Anthony of the Desert once said,

A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, ‘You are mad; you are not like us.”

For people who are awake, that time is here, for sure.

Gender Confusion

Liberals on TV would have us all believe that men who “think”  they are women should be allowed full access to women’s public restrooms, and should be able to “compete” in women’s sports.  These “reporters” then proceed to label everyone who disagrees with this really stupid idea as “bigots.”  However, most people out here in flyover country see this as lunacy.  The truth is that, at birth, we are made male and female, according to God, and our private parts are visible evidence of that. Hello!

Abortion

Since 1973, the so-called “Supreme” Court of the USA has told us that a child in the womb is not really a child, and therefore, he or she can be killed.  They used the alleged “right to privacy” clause in the US Constitution to allow this. The only problem, of course, is that there is no “right to privacy” clause in the Constitution, and even if there was, to sane people, this is a non-sequitur. How can a “right to privacy” allow a child to be killed?

The only way this would make any sense is that if there was a hidden agenda to use the aborted child’s body parts for some other purpose or to somehow reduce the world’s alleged “overpopulation” (the truth is that the earth is not overpopulated at all). Like in the days of Solomon, Americans are sacrificing their children to Moloch, a pagan god. Once again, this is pure madness, as the truth is that children are God’s greatest gift to mankind.

The father of lies, the devil, so hates the fact that we are made in the image and likeness of God, and not his, that he attacks us in the very place we are made in His image and likeness, the womb, when we are the weakest and most helpless, before birth.

Woke

I had never heard of this term until 2020. It evidently means that people are suddenly aware that America is a totally racist country, and then these woke people will judge and condemn the rest of us from their lofty self-righteous perch for being “racists.” Then,  they’ll burn down your city and topple statues to prove how non-racist they are! Sane white people who have gotten along with black people for years are all of a sudden “learning” from these very sick people that they are really racist at heart.

I remember when Dr. Martin Luther King rightly said that non-violence was the key to victory against racism. Today, Dr. King’s philosophy that we should judge a man by the content of his character and not by the color of his skin has been thrown into the trash by crazy “woke” anarchists like Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

The truth is that America is not a racist country, with many millionaire black sports stars, the billionaire Oprah Winfrey on TV, and hundreds of thousands of African Americans in the media, college sports, and entertainment. Certainly, the incident in Minnesota where a white cop killed a black man under arrest was horrible, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us are like that.  It’s so hypocritical for the liberals to tar all white people with the broad brush of that racist policemen, but then turn around and lecture us all that Muslim terrorist acts in no way implicate all Muslims as being terrorists. Which is it?

Homosexual “Marriage”

I remember in the last century when the homosexuals told us all “that what goes on in their bedrooms is no one’s business but theirs.” Well, that was a fairly decent argument, and most people bought into it. Then, the homosexuals started suing cake bakers, wedding venues, and photographers who refused to participate in their so-called “weddings.” All of a sudden, what went on in their bedrooms now became everyone’s business. If you refuse to endorse sodomy on religious grounds, you will not only lose your livelihood, but you will also go broke through litigation, and then go to jail.

Sadly, some of the courts overlook the sacrosanct freedom of religion clause (it actually is part of the Constitution) in favor of the right to be “married“ as homosexuals (marriage is nowhere to be found in the Constitution).  The truth is that only one man and one woman have the right to be married, no matter what nine black-robed justices in Washington DC make up. God’s laws must be obeyed in a country whose motto is “In God We Trust,” or we are doomed as a country. God will not be mocked.

Now we know why the world will be destroyed by fire like Sodom and Gomorrah were.

Pornography

In the early days of the normalization of pornography, the Supreme Court said that there had to be “socially redeeming value” if porn was going to be shown in the movies or in magazines. The pornographers got around that by including classical music in their movies, and by having thought-provoking articles about life and love in their magazines, in addition to nude people. Now, of course, all of that is out the window for full-blown, XXX-rated, porn on-demand on your cell phone and laptop.

The truth is that viewing porn makes it very difficult to truly love someone of the opposite sex in the way God intended. Instead, viewers of porn usually want lustful unloving sex from their mate. And the dirty little secret that few people talk about is that if enough porn is viewed, then having real sex with a married partner becomes physically impossible without that little blue pill. And what no one seems to realize, except for exorcists, is that demons attach themselves to you when you view porn, and then your life on earth becomes a living hell, with demonic oppression and obsession. Why? Because viewing porn involves the mortal sins of lust and idolatry, which attract demons like metal to an electromagnet.

Biblical Truth

 So many people no longer believe in the sacred truths that the bible teaches, because of what they mistakenly consider to be inconsistencies in Genesis, or because they don’t believe that a loving God would allow all of the evil in the world to exist. Well, guess what? Theology is tough!  A lot of weak-minded people actually believe that atheist scientists have discovered the truth, rather than Abraham, Moses, Peter, Paul, etc. So what does the Bible have to say about truth?

Isaiah 45:19: I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in chaos.’ I the Lord speak the truth, I declare what is right.

Psalm 145:18: The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.

John 8:32: and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

John 8:44: You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Conclusion

The bottom line is that the truth is the truth whether or not one likes it or not. The fact that people can’t stand to hear the truth doesn’t mean that it isn’t the truth; rather, it only means that people prefer to hear a lie instead of the truth because the lie conforms to their personal opinion of the way they wish things were, instead of how things really are. That is surely a recipe for disaster because everyone then can have a different “truth” (moral relativism). Everyone believes that their personal opinion is “the truth” and not God’s Truth is why society is in so much trouble today!
