The Battle for Our Minds and Souls

One never learns what evil is promoted in our country until one is finally confronted with it. Here is the current law for education of grade school children in California concerning sexual education. California wants to teach children how to avoid HIV, teach “healthy attitudes” toward sexual orientation, and to understand sex as a normal part of human development.

The new law, AB-329, orders teachers to affirmatively recognize different sexual orientations and to be inclusive of same-sex relationships in discussions. Planned Parenthood is on the board advising California how to implement this program. Children will be taught that utterly immoral forms of sexual activity are alternatives to regular sex when these actions that don’t result in pregnancy.

If that is nor alarming enough, another law proposed in California would punish any retail department store if it displayed girls’ clothing and toys in separate displays from boys’ clothing and toys. Offenders would be fined $1,000. The bill would require such items to be displayed in “one, undivided area of its sales floor.”

What Is Happening To This Country

Critics of Western civilization have always claimed that religion foments the most brutal wars in history, but it’s actually the immoral ones who foment war. The straight people in this country, after conceding some slack with the morally wrong, are certain to be outraged when they realize the morally wrong are now training all children to live immoral lives before they have even reached puberty.

Don’t the American people have any common sense at all? We now have all the ingredients for real civil strife in this country. We are divided in everything with such extreme polarity that it staggers the mind. Not only in purely political matters, but in far more serious matters.

What was wrong with our forefathers building a government on Christian principles, claiming that we are entitled to the God-given inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? These rights are not conferred on us by government: they are conferred by God. If God freely granted the American people the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, doesn’t it seem logical that God would expect from us the desire to love Him and obey Him, as He commands every human being and angel to do.

Other nations have defied God and paid the penalty for it. I don’t think any of us will enjoy finding out that God no longer favors America because we no longer want to serve Him. Everything we try to do now will be could be met with obstruction and failure.

In fact, we are almost there. Staff the Supreme Court with progressive and atheistic judges. Let them defy the moral code we should comply with, and see what I mean. We are so close to it that, now, I don’t see how we can escape it.

Donald Trump, as maligned as he is by the left, has never sponsored any defiance of respect for God’s laws. He is famous for the mantra, “We will not worship government. We will worship God!”  If that is the mantra this divided country finally choses as a battle cry, we will see civil strife that few other nations have seen. And we deserve it.

Wake up America! This is God’s world. America once belonged to God, and God is not going to surrender it to Lucifer without a fight. But God also will not magically undo the consequences of all this immorality.

Total Control by the World is Only External

The devil’s aim is to capture God’s creation and to rule it himself as though he were God. It is an impossible quest because Lucifer is a creature. He cannot hurt God in the slightest, but he can hurt what God created, and he can beguile and capture human beings if they are not careful in how they deal with Lucifer.

We could easily defeat Lucifer’s attempt to take over our country, for example, simply by voting against any candidate who argues in favor of laws God that does not want and against laws God that does want.

There is a famous vision that George Washington had before he died. He revealed it to Westley Bradshaw, who published it. It was an encouraging message to him from heaven presented by a woman of spectacular wisdom and beauty. It was not a Catholic apparition as such, but I have read it and found nothing contradictory to the Catholic faith in it.

The woman tells the “Son of the Republic” (as Washington is addressed in the vision) that this nation he fought so hard to found will have three tests as times go by. The first test was undoubtedly the war of independence, the second test was the Civil War; the third is another more serious struggle that is yet to come.

You should read this vision and see if God really did have some plan for the American Republic. If He did, we had better comply with it.

God Wants Total Control of Us As Well

 God wants everyone He created, every human being and every angel, to love Him and obey Him. This is the only way everyone can live in peace and happiness. God knows what is good for each one of us. He fashioned His universe to be conducive to the good He created each one of us to experience. If any human or any angel chooses not to obey God even in what seems to be trivial matters, someone will suffer because of that refusal. That’s why we must obey.

God has a plan in which He allows each one of us to represent Him to everyone else. Are you a good singer? That’s a gift from God. He is the master composer of music and song and wants you to share part of it with Him. This world goes out of its way to make the music you sing seem part of you. God gave you the talent to sing, but you are not the master composer. In this world, your music becomes a too much of you and not enough of God, and your music fails to achieve what Gods wants to achieve through you. The bottom line is you are meant to be controlled by somebody, but it should be God, not the devil or the world.

But God doesn’t really control you. If you succeed in learning to love God, you will gladly do His will because you love Him and trust Him. There is no coercion from God. God does not want to force you to comply with His will. The world, secular governments, and Lucifer have to coerce you every step of the way because evil never engenders respect or obedience. So laws are made to cover everything you do. We are starting to experience that now.

In the end, God will confine the defiant and the disobedient to Hell where they can no longer mislead others. This is far different than the punishment we receive in the world, which is meant to wake us up to the evil we are part of, but if it is God’s way of dealing with those who reject God and refuse obedience. Ultimate justice has got to be the best way.

What Hell Is Like

The three children at Fatima were shown an apparition of Hell on July 13, 1917. The earth appeared to open up and expose a deep chasm of blazing fire billowing over like a pot of water brought to a rolling boil. The children could see the forms of human souls and fallen angels in Hell. The humans were simply carried along with the flames, tossed here and there without displaying any sense of equilibrium or balance.

All souls were hideous to look at, but the fallen angels were even more horrible than the humans. According to the seers, the demons took the form of atrocious beasts, black as coal. The vision was so frightening to the children that God only allowed it to last a very short time.

I think the vision of Hell shown to the three children is an accurate message from God. Hell is a place of punishment for those who contradict the whole reason God created them. They should live fully obedient to God. Because they have free will and refused to comply with it, their refusal would destroy everything God has provided for in his heavenly kingdom. So the disobedient just float around in the flames of Hell.

What God’s Total Control of Us Is Like

When we freely give our love and obedience, it is because we are firmly convinced this is what God desires, and it is correct to be this way. God does not need laws and external force to compel obedience. This would be demeaning to our free nature. God fixes us with something like an instinct so we never would want to sway away from total compliance with His will.

This means that there are no police in heaven, no armies, and no weapons of war, none of the implements of coercion are present in eternity.

Conclusion

On the Internet there are hundreds of YouTube videos of flash mobs of people supposedly gathering together in public places with their instruments to have a spontaneous concert. If you haven’t seen any yet, look up “flash mob” on the Internet, and you’ll find more references than you can imagine! Then, translate what you see in this world to what you might see in heaven.

In the next life, you might find yourself in a scenic area and sit down to rest. You are near a settlement of some human being. Perhaps you have not met them yet, but you know who they are, they are among those God accepted into His heavenly kingdom, and they are as happy and content as they could possibly be.

Suddenly you hear music, maybe a single instrument, but you recognize it and the melody. More instruments are added as the local people join in and you are treated to the best and most wholesome music their race created. And you are welcome there, and you join in with them.

Reviewing their historic music helps you to understand who these people are and why they are as dear to God as you are. And after that, you join in with them and share your thoughts with them. You would speak to their lineage going all the way back to Adam and Eve. And you will meet the composers of their music, if they made it into heaven, that is. And you will be able to understand whatever they say. There is a master language in heaven.

I am sure you will find this infinitely better than the best moments you had in this life. So my advice to all of you (and to me also) is this: keep the faith in this life, beware of Lucifer, and stay obedient to God. When each of us appears before Peter at the Pearly Gates, may each one of hear his welcome rather than see his hand wave us off due to our disobedience to such easy commands to love and obey God and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
