I recently stumbled upon a small but powerful book. It dropped in my lap in a timely manner during this May the month of Mary. The book is Month by Month with Mary: Spiritual Insights for Marian Devotion. This book provides a path towards a deeper relationship with Mary the Mother of Jesus, our Mother.
Father Guido Gandolfo is the author of this collection of monthly meditations. The grew out of a monthly Marian contributions father made to the monthly periodical Madre di Dio (Mother of God).This periodical is a publication of the Society of St Paul. Using that as a spring board for the direction he took, Father leaned heavily on Saint Luis de Montfort and Blessed James Alberione.
Each month focuses on a different aspect or title of Mary. Here is the chapter list to give you a feel for the contents.

This is a great little devotional with the monthly meditations approximately 10 pages in length. If you are looking for a solid book that will help you in your desire to grow in deeper devotion to our Blessed Mother, this volume will be a valuable resource. As Father writes in the introduction, “May we each feel over us the maternal protection of the Virgin Mary, our Mother, Teacher, and Queen of the Apostles.”
