Is Atheism Dead?—Eric Metaxas

God

Most books by Christians about the atheism versus theism debate start with the reasonableness of faith. Popular radio host and author Eric Metaxas starts with the reasonableness of science as filled with evidential power for the existence of God as can be known by faith. His brand new book is titled Is Atheism Dead? And what a stemwinder it is. Truly thought-provoking stuff hiding in plain sight—evidence of intentional and intelligent design.

In this Episode You Will Learn
  • Why Metaxas decided to take the fight, so to speak, to the scientists
  • The miraculous properties of water
  • The staggering unlikelihood that the moon’s (small) size and distance to the sun (huge size) would line up as appearing to be the same dimensions as seen from earth
  • The conversion to theism (at a bare minimum) of high profile atheists Jean-Paul Sartre, Albert Camus, and Antony Flew
  • Why atheists are often bitterly opposed to even the idea of God
  • An array of incredibly fascinating facts hidden in nature that point to God as First Cause
  • The difference between the God of the philosophers and the Father of Jesus Christ
  • Reasons why faith is reasonable and not contrary to reason

  1. I am on my 4th reading of Part 1 “Does Science Point to God?” (My favorite part at the moment.) The information, detailed information, presented here leaves my brain smoking (as we say in Spanish, when one is confronted with astonishing news).

As I have been a committed believer since 1976, I was not/am not looking here for proof of a wondrous God & Creator to put my faith on. I read this section to be reminded of many unique reasons to CELEBRATE Him!

It is a great feeling when one’s mind is utterly BLOWN—-I don’t need street drugs when I have Part 1!🥰

  2. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: You can’t prove that the Bible was true because there is evidence a town in it really existed. It would be like someone 4,000 years from now saying The Avengers must have been real because they found evidence New York City (their home base in the comics) existed

WOW! It really makes sense. It’s almost as detailed and informative as the articles of my favorite compacom.com website. Now, I’ll read this author too. Maybe, I’ll find more details on any financial matters in addition to Compacom analysts.

  5. The sun and the moon are both 109 diameters away, but only at the moment. Millions of years ago the moon was closer. In the far future it will be further away. Look up “tidal deceleration”.
