Didn’t know it was Catholic teaching to separate desperate families seeking asylum and tear children from their parents and keep them in cages. I imagine you can find some ingenious way to distinguish this flight from desperate circumstances from Matt 2:13-23.

Also didn’t know that the “swamp” didn’t include a secret Trump bank account in China which suddenly showed a profit after he became President . . . then there are those patents the Chinese gave to Ivanka. . . or breaking precedent by refusing to disclose tax returns while lying about the reason . . .
Didn’t know cruelty and greed were Catholic virtues.
